Job summary

Function Health is hiring a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable data and ML infrastructure that empowers engineers and clinicians. You will own the data pipelines, schema contracts, and governance that enable rapid, safe experimentation and product analytics.

You will partner with platform engineers and data scientists to ship reliable data products, while upholding testing, CI/CD, and data quality standards across the lakehouse stack.

• Track infrastructure for product analytics, experimentation, and feature gates.
• Develop and maintain the Bronze → Silver → Gold data lake and schema evolution in Databricks.
• Build and operate ML infrastructure: feature pipelines, training/eval pipelines, model output integration.
• Enable self-service data & model deployment with policy-as-code and fair validation.
