Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Platform Data Engineer to design, deploy, and operate the core data infrastructure for our analytics ecosystem. You will own reliability, scalability, and performance of the data platform, sitting at the intersection of infrastructure and data engineering.

You will lead with Python development, manage Airflow and BI tooling, and ensure security/compliance. Remote work and a strong benefits package are available as part of a mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of combined infrastructure and data engineering experience.
• Experience with Python development and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and administer core platform tooling including Airflow and Superset in production environments.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for data platform components using Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflow deployments.
• Implement and enforce platform security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain data models using DBT and catalog assets within OpenMetadata.
• Write efficient Python code for platform automation and data processing.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
