Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Electronics Engineer - Platform Cosite Lead, located in Melbourne, FL. This role operates on a 9/80 schedule with no hybrid/remote work.

You will contribute to RF subsystem development, requirements management, interface control, and verification across teams. The engineer will perform analyses, support testing, and collaborate with suppliers and program stakeholders to ensure mission objectives are met while maintaining technical

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 12 years of experience OR Master’s with 10 years OR PhD with 8 years.
Knowledge of electromagnetics in RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands).
Ability to design, select and characterize RF components to meet mission objectives.
Experience in Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) antenna analysis for source/victim (co-site) analysis.

Responsibilities

Support development and integration of communications subsystems to meet platform objectives.
Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Perform performance and functional analyses and conduct trade studies.
Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans and tracking to closure.
Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders.
Develop supplier documentation, performance specs, and statements of work.
Engage with customers and cross-functional teams in regular reviews.
