Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) from an accredited university with 12 years of related professional/military engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree with 10 years; or a Ph.D. with 8 years.
• Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands).
• Ability to design, select and characterize RF components to meet mission objectives.
• Experience in Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) antenna analysis for source/victim (co-site) analysis.
• Experience with LOS/BLOS communication systems in airborne military applications.
• Experience with cryptographic implementations and RF antenna/component design.

Responsibilities

• Support development and integration of communications subsystems to meet mission objectives.
• Develop requirements, translate customer needs into hardware/software specs.
• Perform performance and functional analyses and detailed trade studies.
• Plan and execute risk analyses with mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders throughout the program.
