Job summary

The Vanguard Group seeks a seasoned senior leader to head control testing within Personal Wealth, designing, executing and evolving processes to test and document business controls while coordinating with internal and external audits.

This role requires strategic thinking, leadership and collaboration across functions to drive automation, strengthen controls and sustain risk posture in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of twelve years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Professional certifications (CPA, COSO, CIA, CISA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the control testing and documentation strategy across Personal Wealth including control ownership, assurance activities (manual and automated), and business accountability.
• Champion Control Automation and emerging technologies to strengthen control execution and reduce risk.
• Define and embed Control Accountability across business teams, ensuring clarity of ownership and control execution.
• Engagement with the RCSA program to identify and prioritize control documentation and testing.
• Deliver robust reporting and insights on control health and risk posture to senior leaders, enabling data driven decision making.
