Job summary

Holman is seeking a Platform Controller to lead the Dealership Accounting function across the Central and West Coast platforms. Based in the region, you will supervise Controllers and assist in implementing strategic initiatives to strengthen financial operations.

You will partner with regional leadership, review audits, and drive performance analyses. The role requires travel to dealerships monthly and to out-of-state sites as needed, with a focus on strong leadership and accurate financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ in a dealership leadership role, with multiple brands preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dealership operations and central service departments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to coach and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dealership accounting function for the assigned platform.
• Supervise dealership controllers and assistant controllers; liaison for initiatives.
• Develop high-performing financial leaders and empower them.
• Partner with VPSO and drive regional initiatives and requests.
• Address financial questions from RAD and regional teams; support audits.
• Review performance with regional leadership and dealership management.
• Analyze pay plans and standardize across platforms.
• Ensure consistent accounting data across platforms and budgeting support.
• Travel monthly to local dealerships; additional travel for out-of-state support.
