Job summary

Tier4 Group in Milwaukee is seeking a CI/CD Platform Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve a reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery platform. You will work with platform engineers supporting cloud infrastructure and developer platforms that enable engineering teams to efficiently build, test, and deploy software.

The ideal candidate has strong cloud and DevOps fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Hands-on with GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• IaC using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory.
• 3+ years in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Experience with Linux systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD platform services with a team.
• Design and implement automation to improve delivery processes.
• Create platform health metrics, dashboards, and monitoring.
• Support deployments across cloud environments.
• Apply security, compliance, and observability best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with engineering to adopt platform tools.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and developer productivity.
