Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a self-motivated software engineer for the DCS platform team in New York. You will build platforms and tools for interacting with large-scale production systems, improve engineering productivity, and design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software.

You will bring new ideas, innovate, and iterate on the platform. Minimum qualifications include a CS degree and experience across web/app, Unix/Linux, distributed systems, or ITSM related areas.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with two or more: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, networking systems, developing large software systems.
• Experience with DICM, ITOM, or ITSM in the role.
• Experience with GPU, big data (Hadoop/Kafka/Apache) or streaming/computing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build platforms, systems and services for internal and external teams to interact with large scale production systems.
• Build tools to improve engineering productivity.
