Speechify seeks a talented backend engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust APIs across public and internal services. You will drive scalability and performance, guiding architecture decisions and collaborating with product and design teams to deliver delightful user experiences.

Ideal candidates bring strong TS/Node skills, hands-on cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure), and comfort with containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience using TS/Node (required).
• Direct experience with cloud providers (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Ability to prioritize and implement efficiently based on impact.
• Nice to have: Docker and containerized deployments.
• Nice to have: Kubernetes deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs (public/private).
• Oversee backend API landscape for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate on enterprise-focused B2B integration needs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align backend with product UX.
