Job summary

ERPS X and its Platform Team invite backend engineers to design and scale foundational services powering our platform. You will build core APIs used across product teams, architect multi-tenant data models, and optimize data pipelines for high volume usage.

You will apply expertise in REST/GraphQL, relational databases, caching, and security to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure. Proficiency with Linux, Docker, and modern CI/CD tools is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience in PHP or Python.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL API design and versioning.
• Strong relational database design, indexing, and replication.
• Experience with caching (Redis/Memcached) and message queues (RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Solid understanding of security principles — OWASP, encryption, access control.
• Comfortable with Linux, Docker, and CI/CD toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core platform APIs used by all product teams.
• Design multi-tenant data architecture for isolation and performance.
• Optimize database queries, caching layers, and background job processing for scale.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices across the platform.
• Develop internal tools and SDKs to accelerate product velocity.
• Monitor, profile, and continuously improve platform reliability and performance.
