Job summary

Speechify is seeking a seasoned backend engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable APIs powering our text-to-speech platform. You will own API surfaces across public and internal endpoints, collaborating with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver robust services.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience with TS/Node.
• Direct experience with GCP and familiarity with AWS/Azure or other clouds.
• Efficient ideation and implementation, prioritizing tasks by urgency and impact.
• Preferred: Docker and containerized deployments.
• Preferred: Kubernetes for high-availability deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API and internal APIs.
