Job summary

CareCentrix is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to join the DevOps team in a remote role with occasional on-site requirements in Tampa. You will bridge software development and platform operations through automation, tooling, and platform engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong software foundation, experience with modern CI/CD, and an interest in AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation. You will contribute to developer productivity, deployment reliability, and platform

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of software development or related engineering experience.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience with Python and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Git, source control practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting/automation using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automation solutions to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.
• Develop internal tools, integrations, and self-service capabilities for engineering teams.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and software engineering best practices.
• Support applications running in cloud and containerized environments.
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to improve deployment reliability and developer experience.
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to platform modernization, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud adoption efforts.
