Job summary

Plutus21 Capital, L.L.C. is seeking a Platform Engineering Lead to architect and build the essential technology platform powering multiple businesses. The role combines hands-on coding, architecture, and leadership of Forward Deployed Engineers to deploy scalable, reusable infrastructure.

You will drive data modeling, AI-enabled development, and secure, compliant design across enterprise systems while partnering with executives and customers to solve complex problems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production software architecture.
• Experience leading architecture and development of complex software platforms.
• Experience designing ontologies, knowledge graphs, or enterprise data models.
• Proficient in frontend and backend development with TS, Python, React, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong relational DB, data modeling, and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience building data platforms, semantic layers, and workflow systems.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical architecture.
• Experience mentoring engineers and working with customers/executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of the core technology platform.
• Build a unified data layer connecting databases, APIs, docs, apps, and real-time sources.
• Develop ontology/semantic layer modeling business objects and permissions.
• Create reusable frameworks for rapid development of ops apps and internal tools.
• Develop workflow/integration infra for complex processes and AI agent access.
• Design APIs and integration frameworks with third-party systems.
• Establish scalable cloud architecture, deployment standards, observability, and reliability.
• Translate business problems into data models and software, deliver production deployments.
