Job summary

Allstate seeks a Platform Consultant within Cyber Operations & Platforms to shape architecture patterns and integration standards across AI platforms, data, and tooling. You will translate operational intent into scalable, interoperable platform designs that minimize fragmentation.

You will collaborate with ACP, SD&O, and T&P to drive reusable components, pave roads for adoption, and mentor engineers in Agile/DevOps practices while ensuring secure, governance-driven delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering in 3 paradigms: OO (Java/JavaScript), procedural/systems, and functional programming.
• 3+ years architecting large-scale distributed systems: cloud-native microservices on Docker/Kubernetes on AWS/Azure.
• Proven high-impact technical advisor with leadership responsibilities and strong Agile/DevOps practices (TDD/CI/CD).

Responsibilities

• Define architecture patterns, integration standards, and ecosystem strategy across AI platforms, security data, and tooling.
• Translate operational intent into enterprise-scale platform design ensuring interoperability and reuse.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with ACP, SD&O, and T&P for platform alignment.
• Drive paved roads, standardization, and adoption across teams and tools.
• Influence architecture direction and mentor engineers in best practices.
