Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a systems software engineer to design and implement cross-platform API components for the CrowdStrike Falcon Sensor across Windows, Linux, and macOS.

You will help build shared ML inference infrastructure and ensure ABI-stable interfaces for reliable, scalable security software. You will collaborate with multiple platform teams, reason about performance and correctness, and contribute to rigorous testing and incident resolution in a mission-driven company focused on

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in systems software engineering in C/C++.
• Experience across Windows, Linux, and macOS with portable code.
• Solid API design instincts and ABI stability awareness.
• Ability to own ambiguous problems and drive to resolution.
• Clear communicator across teams with strong collaboration.
• Curiosity to understand unfamiliar systems before changing them.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cross-platform API components across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Contribute to on-sensor ML inference infrastructure and API layer components.
• Reason about API contracts: interface clarity, ABI stability, backward compatibility.
• Collaborate with Mac/Linux/Windows sensor teams to evolve the API surface.
• Participate in design and code reviews, providing substantive feedback.
• Investigate failures and troubleshoot cross-boundary issues between API and OS behavior.
• Resolve production incidents and understand platform failure modes.
• Champion end-to-end testing and validation for reliable components.
