Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a Platform Engineer to develop and manage AI/ML frameworks across private, public, and hybrid clouds in Plano, TX candidate preference, with on-site collaboration several times weekly.

You will build scalable data pipelines, optimize inference latency on GCP GPUs/TPUs, and deploy models via Vertex AI Endpoints or GKE. Strong Python and ML/AI expertise required, plus security and reliability focus.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python (3.10+), OO, asyncio, API development (FastAPI/Flask).
• ML/DL expertise with PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Experience with Vertex AI, Kubeflow/KFP, and MLOps tooling.
• Strong SQL and BigQuery skills including BigQuery ML.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and manage AI/ML frameworks in private/public/hybrid clouds.
• Build scalable data engineering and preprocessing workflows on GCP services.
• Design and maintain automated ML pipelines for training, tuning, deployment.
• Expose models via high-performance REST/gRPC APIs and monitor performance.
