Job Description:
Our client, a renewable energy company, is seeking a Platform Administrator to own the day-to-day administration, support, and continuous improvement of Sage Intacct and Procore, the two systems that run their project delivery and financial operations. This is an administration and support role first, focused on keeping both platforms secure, reliable, and well configured. The Platform Administrator will manage user access, run a ticket queue against published service levels, and partner with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and Delivery teams to translate business needs into practical platform configuration.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Take over Sage Intacct administration, including users, roles, permissions, dimensions, custom fields, approval workflows, smart rules, and smart events, with an emphasis on strengthening audit controls
- Build out Intacct reporting and dashboards for business stakeholders, including budgets and variance analysis, using the Financial Report Writer
- Learn Procore configuration during the initial weeks, then independently manage Procore change requests, project templates, permission templates, and workflows
- Own the platform ticket queue: triage, prioritize, resolve, elevate, and close requests against published response and resolution targets
- Diagnose root causes and convert recurring issues into configuration changes, training, or documentation
- Enforce documented change control so every configuration change is ticketed, tested, approved, and recorded
- Monitor and support the Procore to Sage Intacct integration, including sync errors, reconciliation, and period-close exceptions
- Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and self-service guidance, and deliver user training and onboarding
- Act as liaison to Procore and Sage Intacct vendor support and account teams
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5+ years administering enterprise business platforms, including deep, hands-on Sage Intacct administration at the application administrator level
- Proven track record of learning a new enterprise platform to administrator level within 6 months
- Strong command of administration fundamentals: user and role management, permission models, approval workflows, configuration change control, and report writing
- Experience running a support queue, including triage, prioritization, service level management, and root cause resolution
- Ability to translate business requirements into configuration, with the judgment to push back when a process change is a better fit than a system change
- Working knowledge of project financials: budgets, commitments, change orders, cost codes, and job costing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organized, customer service oriented, and able to independently manage competing priorities across multiple business owners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Procore administration experience (Company Admin level)
- Experience owning a Procore to ERP integration, including reconciliation and exception handling
- Sage Intacct Administrator certification or Procore Certified Administrator credential
- Experience with Sage Intacct multi-entity structures, dimension design, and Platform Services
- Background in construction, real estate development, renewable energy, or another project-based business
- Familiarity with Salesforce as an upstream system of record
- Experience supporting month-end close from a systems perspective
