Nico Products in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Plater / Line Operator for the 2nd shift. Starting pay is $28.00/hour plus DOQ, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus and OT opportunities. The role is full-time and direct hire, with potential to significantly increase earnings through attendance rewards and profit sharing.

As a hands-on production position, you’ll operate a metal-finishing line, follow written instructions, and ensure parts meet quality standards. Training is provided for plating processes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow written instructions, learn a process, and pay attention to details.
• Willingness to troubleshoot when something doesn’t look right and show up reliably.
• You don’t need plating experience—we will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Operate an assigned metal-finishing production line.
• Read and follow work orders, process sheets, and SOPs.
• Verify parts are processed per customer and quality requirements.
• Monitor tanks, equipment, temperatures, chemistry, and other process parameters.
• Make routine adjustments within established procedures.
• Inspect parts throughout the process for quality and potential problems.
• Complete required production paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
