Job summary

Valence in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled manufacturing operative to inspect parts before, during, and after processing, operate all necessary machinery, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

You will follow Valence ROUTER procedures, access quality system documents, and perform tasks with minimal supervision while protecting parts from damage. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and use basic hand tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read process traveler and fill out operations.
• Ability to perform simple cleaning operations.
• Ability to assist as a helper to trained operators.
• Able to follow verbal and written directions.
• Able to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and clamps.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the part before, during, and after processing.
• Operate machinery and instruments safely; routine maintenance where required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Able to locate and understand quality system documentation in Valence system.
• Follow ROUTER steps and Valence procedures; correct input mistakes and notify supervisor.
• Process parts with little supervision.
• Protect parts from damage.
