Job summary

Pollard Banknote Limited in Ypsilanti, MI, seeks a detail-oriented Platemaker to join our Prepress team for a 3-day, 12-hour shift. You will review production files and operate plate making equipment to meet game specifications.

You’ll calibrate and maintain plate equipment, manage stock, and support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. A High School diploma or GED and 1–3 years in proofreading or pre-press are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years previous experience working in proofreading or in pre-press production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review production files to ensure specifications are met.
• Operate plate making equipment and monitor daily use.
• Maintain stock and ensure availability of materials for plate production.
• Lead the plate making process to produce high-quality printing plates.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security policies.
