Wilsonart is hiring a Production Associate in Fletcher, NC to operate in the Press department, lifting plates and laminates, and supporting two-person team tasks throughout the shift. The role emphasizes safety, data logging, and adherence to production processes.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of manufacturing/industrial experience.
• Able to lift 50–100 pounds and perform heavy work for 10 hours.

Responsabilidades

• Retrieve and inspect component material, plates, and laminate.
• Lays up component material with a partner and stacks laminate per process.
• Initiate corrective actions when production isn’t standard.
• Log production data such as material, type, size, run, and rejects.
• Perform lock-out/tag-out and preventive maintenance checks.
• Participate in the Wilsonart Continuous Improvement system and follow quality standards.

Works under the direction of Press Operators/Foreman.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: 1. Retrieves and inspects component material, plates, and laminate. 2. As part of a two person team, lays up the component material and lays off completed laminate according to the production process. 3. Initiates corrective action if production operations are not standard. 4. Logs production information such as: material produced, type, size, run, control settings, rejects, etc. 5. Performs lock-out/tag-out procedures and preventative maintenance checks and follows all safety policies and procedures. 6. Participates in the Wilsonart Continuous Improvement system and complies with all quality standards.Perform other position duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to work in a safe manner following company guidelines and procedures.Knowledge of computers, sufficient to enter data into system.Ability to identify patterns and finishes and follow quality specs.Ability to operate a lift truck.Skill in hand and eye coordination.Ability to perform basic math functions.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION: High School Graduate/GED or combination of equivalent education and work history.EXPERIENCE: 1 year of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.WORKING CONDITIONS:PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Heavy work - tasks involve pushing/pulling, lifting and standing or using force equal to handling materials or 50 to 100 pounds.
