Job summary

Wilsonart International is seeking a material handler in Temple, TX to start shifts with PIT equipment, receive orders, and prepare laminate packs according to work orders and packing instructions.

The role requires reading a tape measure, basic math, and the ability to lift heavy loads. Training on safety standards and quality checks is provided to ensure accurate, efficient packing and shipping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience in distribution and/or manufacturing.
• Ability to lift heavy weights and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Understanding of quality standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Start shift by checking power industrial trucks (PIT) and receive all orders for the day.
• Set up workstation for saw inspection and verify packing instructions.
• Record information in the system and ensure accurate labeling for laminates.
• Follow customer packing instructions and maintain safety and cleanliness.
