Job summary

MCC is seeking a Plate Mounter to join our team. The role involves gathering and prepping plates, cylinders, and related parts for the Flexographic press, ensuring accuracy and readiness for production.

Responsibilities include reading schedules, verifying part numbers, mounting plates with precision, and maintaining a clean, organized work area to support on-time production. Safety and quality standards are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Read job schedule and locate correct job bag and plate bag to be prepped.
• Verify plate numbers match specifications and materials are present and in good condition.
• Prepare cylinders for plates by wiping them and adding tape neatly.
• Mount plates onto cylinders with measurements and centering laser for precision.

Responsibilities:

• Readjobschedule and locatecorrectjobbagand plate bag to be prepped.
• Verify the plate numbers match thespecificationsheetandmaterialsarepresent andingood condition.
• Prepare cylinders for plates bywiping them andneatly adding the correct tape to the cylinder.
• Mount plates onto cylinders, using measurements and centering laser for precise accuracy.
• Organize and prepare cartsof mounted plates and move them to the staging area.
• Ensurescheduled jobs are prepped on time to support a smooth production process.
• Clean used plates and file them into their correct spot for future use.
• Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of work area/production zone.
• Related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
