MCC is seeking a Plate Mounter to support our production line in Pennsylvania. The role involves gathering and prepping plates, cylinders, and related components for the Flexographic press, ensuring readiness and material availability for on-time production.

Responsibilities include reading schedules, verifying part numbers, mounting plates with precision, organizing mounted plates, and maintaining a clean work area. A safety-first approach and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Safety-first attitude and compliance with safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy.
• Ability to read schedules and follow instructions.
• Able to work quickly in a fast-paced production setting.
• Comfortable standing and moving for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read job schedule and locate the correct job bag and plate bag.
• Verify plate numbers match the specifications and materials are present.
• Prepare cylinders for plates by wiping and taping.
• Mount plates onto cylinders with measurements and centering laser.
• Organize and move mounted plates to the staging area.
• Ensure scheduled jobs are prepped on time to support production.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area.

Responsibilities

• Readjobschedule and locatecorrectjobbagand plate bag to be prepped.
• Verify the plate numbers match thespecificationsheetandmaterialsarepresent andingood condition.
• Prepare cylinders for plates bywipingthem andneatly adding the correct tape to the cylinder.
• Mount plates onto cylinders, using measurements and centering laser for precise accuracy.
• Organize and prepare cartsof mounted plates and move them to the staging area.
• Ensurescheduled jobs are prepped on time to support a smooth production process.
• Clean used plates and file them into their correct spot for future use.
• Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of work area/production zone.
• Related duties as assigned.
