Job summary

KDV Label, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Press Helper to assist on the production line, with starting pay of $18.50/hr or more depending on experience. This entry-level role offers a path into the print industry across multiple locations in the US.

You will perform plate mounting prep, operate in a fast-paced setting, maintain safety, and support presses to ensure timely production. A strong math sense and ability to read measurements are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle physical workload on average 10lbs, maximum weight 25lbs.
• Mathematical Development: Basic math skills needed, able to read a ruler.
• Good close-up vision recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations related to Plate Mounting – including lifting print cylinders that weigh up to 25lbs and mount plate on to print cylinder using precision.
• Capable of working in a fast paced environment.
• Plan ahead, preparing for the next job.
• Wash plates from completed jobs using plate washer.
• Peel sticky back off cylinders.
• Stock area with supplies needed – alcohol, soap, etc.
• Read and understand measurements down to .0625”
• Must have the ability to understand direction from group leaders and other technician level employees
• Must demonstrate a good safety record
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
