Job summary

KDV Label in Wisconsin is seeking a Press Helper to support producing high-quality labels. Responsibilities include plate mounting prep, operating presses, and keeping areas clean.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle average 10lbs, maximum weight 25lbs.
• Basic math skills needed, able to read a ruler.
• Good close-up vision recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Plate Mounting operations, including lifting print cylinders up to 25lbs and mounting plates on to print cylinders with precision.
• Capable of working in a fast paced environment.
• Plan ahead, preparing for the next job.
• Wash plates from completed jobs using plate washer.
• Peel sticky back off cylinders.
• Stock area with supplies needed – alcohol, soap, etc.
• Read and understand measurements down to .0625”.
• Understand directions from group leaders and other technicians.
• Maintain a good safety record.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Pay: $18.50/hr or more with experience in manufacturing or similar role

As a Press Helper, you will be on the front lines of producing high-quality labels for our customers. Our Press Helpers are critical in preparing print jobs and keeping our presses running. This is an excellent position to start a successful career in print!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Perform routine operations related to Plate Mounting –including but not limited to lifting print cylinders that weigh up to 25lbs and mount plate on to print cylinder using precision
