Job summary

Labelink USA is seeking motivated individuals for a Plate Mounter role on the 2nd shift. You will review orders, mount plates with high precision, and ensure quality through inspection and documentation.

Training occurs on the 1st shift, with a Monday–Thursday schedule and a $1.00 shift differential. We offer competitive pay with raises and bonuses, benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA/HRA options, a 401(k) match, and paid time off from day one.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to read rulers/tape measures to close tolerances.
• Good attention to detail and ability to spot defects.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs occasionally and stand for prolonged periods.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and job tracking.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders and plate mounting specifications.
• Clean, inspect, and repair plates prior to mounting.
• Apply mounting tape, align and mount plates on cylinders or sleeves with high precision.
• Trim, proof, and perform quality control checks for registration, alignment, and defects.
• Maintain and organize prepress/work area (plates, sleeves, tapes, etc.).
• Transport mounted plate assemblies to press staging area.
• Clean mounting equipment, remove used plates, wash and dry plates as needed.
• Record and report any defects, equipment issues, or discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and food-safety/cleaning protocols if applicable.

Shift Details

• Training will be conducted on 1st shift.
• Second Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:20 PM–12:20 AM (+$1.00 shift differential).

What You’ll Do

• Review job orders and plate mounting specifications (e.g. plate type, size, orientation).
• Clean, inspect, and, if needed, make minor repairs to plates prior to mounting.
• Apply mounting tape, align and mount plates on cylinders or sleeves with high precision.
• Trim, proof, and perform quality control checks (registration, alignment, defects).
• Maintain and organize prepress/work area (plates, sleeves, tapes, etc.).
• Transport mounted plate assemblies to press staging area.
• Clean mounting equipment, remove used plates, wash and dry plates as needed.
• Record and report any defects, equipment issues, or discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and food‑safety/cleaning protocols if applicable.

What We’re Looking For
