Job summary

InterFlex Acquisition Co LLC and Their Recruiting Partners seeks a plate mounting technician to translate specifications into mounting steps. You will set up jobs, prepare plates, and apply them with proper mounting tape to ensure accurate print registration.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong reading of measurements. Training and safety are emphasized in the position.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Mount printing plates on cylinders or sleeves per specifications and procedures.
• Set up jobs using plate mounter and prepare plates for mounting.
• Apply plates with correct mounting tape and maintain quality.
• Coordinate with shift supervisor to plan mounting order and document steps.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to mount printing plates on cylinders / sleeves following customer specifications and company procedure in an accurate fashion so that press operators can achieve desired print registration and impression with ease and efficiency.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Translate written and computer generated layout specifications into the requirements for mounting plates.Set up job using plate mounter.Prepare plates to be mounted. (Clean and or minor repair.)Apply plates using correct mounting tape.RESPONSIBILITES:Planning- Coordinate with shift supervisor to plan mounting order.Documentation- Complete required forms and obtain required signatures.QC- With the help of shift supervisor, make sure job is mounted correctly. ( Job Check-off )Ability to perform with meticulous attention to detail.Must be able to read tape measureCan work with very small tolerances.
