Job summary

Inteplast Group seeks a QC Technician A to monitor the production process, perform testing and inspections, and support Quality with documentation and problem solving. The role emphasizes adherence to quality standards and customer specs, with rotation and travel as needed.

The position requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and proficiency with Excel and databases, plus experience in a plastics manufacturing or related quality environment. Clean lab practices and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary diploma in a science-related program preferred.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Two years of related work experience in plastics or quality manufacturing preferred.
• ISO and/or SQF certification preferred.
• Experience with ASTM testing methods an asset.
• Knowledge of GMPs and extrusion processes an asset.
• Proficient computer skills including Excel and databases.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test products to ensure compliance with standards and customer specs.
• Support Production through start-up verification and in-process evaluations.
• Record inspection/test results and communicate findings to relevant departments.
• Maintain QC documentation and calibration records.
• Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and nonconforming products.
• Participate in CAPA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with ISO, SQF, HACCP, GMP and related audits and trainings.
• Provide backup for other Quality roles as needed.
• Ensure proper lab practices and safe working environment.
