Job summary

Alphapointe in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assist in startups and operate machines for packers, floor personnel, and mold technician tasks.

The role requires the ability to troubleshoot issues, clean molds, and perform quality control tests on bottles. You may train others in packaging and palletizing processes, reporting to a supervisor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand QC requirements on bottles and perform all necessary tests.
• Help train others on how printing the boxes should be done, as well as bottle packaging, and on how many boxes should be put on each pallet.

Job Summary

Essential Functions

• To assist the Supervisor in startups and be able to run machines without any help.
• Be able to trouble shoot problems so they can inform supervisor or maintenance where problems are occurring.
• Be able to clean, polish molds and core rods.
• When the supervisor is gone, he/she should be able to take over their job duties without question.
• Have knowledge of all QC requirements on bottles and be able to perform all necessary tests on the bottles.

Additional Functions

• Be able to help train others on how printing the boxes should be done, as well as bottle packaging, and on how many boxes should be put on each pallet.

Working Conditions

• Will have to go through all classes as required of Alphapointe employees and pass ninety-day trial period.
• Should also be able to lift, push or pull up to one hundred pounds.
• Be able to pull preforms off core rods using a brass tool in a timely manner.
• Pay rate = $19.00/hr - $24.00/hr
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11pm-7am
