Steinwall Inc. is seeking a Materials Handler to compile and maintain plastic resin and finished goods inventory, ensuring accurate status information to expedite material flow between production areas.

The role requires reading schedules and work orders to determine material type, quantity, and priority, and transferring materials from stock to production. The position involves drying resin to specifications, setting up material equipment, mixing resins and colorants, staging materials, and

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior plastic injection molding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform basic math.
• Basic keyboarding and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedules, inventory reports and work orders to determine material needs and priorities.
• Transfers materials from stock area to production areas and maintains material integrity.
• Dries plastic resin to specifications and sets up material equipment for production runs.
• Mixes thermoplastic resins and colorants and stages materials at work stations.
• Assists in press operation as needed and performs cleaning of drying and grinding equipment.
