Job summary

American Plastics, LLC is seeking a forklift operator/materials handler to manage inventory, ensure accurate stock levels, and support manufacturing operations. The role requires familiarity with plastic resins and related materials, plus compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining organized storage, performing other tasks as assigned, and adhering to the work schedule with reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to calculate figures accurately.
• Must pass forklift written and driving test.
• Previous related work experience operating forklifts, hand trucks, and hopper loaders is preferred.
• Knowledge of plastic resins, colorants, materials, corrugated cartons, and all parts used in manufacturing finished goods is preferred.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor an adequate inventory of raw materials and resign at each job site.
• Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels of all materials in well-organized storage areas.
• Perform other diversified tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
• Adhere to all safety procedures & help promote a clean work environment.
• Work the schedule assigned and maintain good attendance.
