Job summary

Drug Plastics & Glass Company Inc. is seeking a Materials Handler to ensure proper transfer of plastic materials to molding machines and to support production on the factory floor.

The role requires you to read procedures, manage material changes, monitor flow, and maintain safety and cleanliness on the production line. You will perform routine maintenance on grinders and hoppers, follow GMP guidelines, and work overtime as needed to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Basic math skills for calculations and measurements.
• Ability to understand MSDS and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Break down incoming bulk shipments of materials for storage or production.
• Clean lines, hoses, and equipment to prevent contamination.
• Check feed lines to ensure proper material flow to machines.
• Prepare material mixes and ensure correct color/material changes.
• Connect loaders, lines, and equipment to convey materials to machines.
• Maintain cleanliness around equipment and work areas and restock supplies.
