Job summary

Pretium Packaging - USA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to keep blow molding lines running and to drive continuous improvements on our 2-2-3 night schedule (7pm–7am). You will diagnose, repair, and optimize mechanical/electrical systems, while coaching peers and ensuring GMP, LOTO and PPE safety standards are followed.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment installation support, and maintaining detailed CMMS records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing/industrial maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical/controls systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automation platforms.
• Ability to interpret manuals, blueprints, and electrical/pneumatic schematics.
• CMMS literacy and preventive maintenance scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on blow molding equipment (EBM/SBM), conveyors, packers, and automation.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using hand/power tools, multimeters, and PLC interfaces.
• Confront unusual problems requiring deep research and advanced problem-solving.
• Collaborate with operations to reduce downtime and fine-tune machine performance.
• Lead thorough shift handoffs and complete end-of-shift reporting.
• Record work and update equipment histories in CMMS (MaintainX).
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process enhancements.
• Coach teammates; share technical expertise to grow the team’s capability.
• Enforce and model safety practices: LOTO, GMP, and PPE compliance.
