Job summary

Pretium Packaging - USA is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Reliability Technician for the 2nd and night shifts (Mon–Fri, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM). You will troubleshoot and maintain blow molders, conveyors, packers, and automated systems to keep lines running at peak performance.

You’ll diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using PLC interfaces, multimeters, and a range of tools, while documenting work in MaintainX and coordinating smooth handoffs between shifts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing assets: blow molders (EBM, SBM), conveyors, packers, and integrated automated systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using hand/power tools, multimeters, PLC interfaces, and more.
• Partner with production to minimize downtime and maximize machine performance.
• Maintain CMMS records in MaintainX and ensure accurate end-of-shift handoffs.
• Assist with equipment installs, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.

You arrive before 10 PM, scan the MaintainX dashboard, and pick up a crisp handoff from the prior crew. A conveyor needed adjustment, a packer flagged an intermittent sensor fault, and a stretch of preventive maintenance on blow molders (EBM, SBM) is queued.
