Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Reliability Technician to join our night shift in Carrollton, TX. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on blow molding lines, conveyors, and integrated automated systems to keep downtime low and quality high.

You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues, document work in MaintainX, and mentor teammates in best practices. A strong safety and GMP focus is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Expert troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation.
• Comfort reading manuals, blueprints, and schematics; able to interpret technical documentation with ease.
• Proficiency with machine shop and fabrication tools: mills, lathes, grinders, welding, etc.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Self-directed, proactive, and effective in both independent and team settings.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing assets: blow molders (EBM, SBM), conveyors, packers, and integrated automated systems.
• Tackle ambiguous problems that require adaptation, deep research, and advanced problem-solving.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using hand/power tools, multimeters, PLC interfaces, and more.
• Share technical know-how; coach maintenance teammates to elevate collective capability.
• Partner with production to minimize downtime and maximize machine performance.
• Ensure smooth shift-to-shift handoffs every night and maintain accurate end-of-shift reports.
• Keep meticulous logs and update CMMS records in MaintainX.
• Assist with equipment installs, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
• Communicate clearly with both maintenance and operations teams.
• Champion safety—adhere to LOTO, GMP, and PPE requirements and model safe practices.

Shift: 2nd & Night Shift, Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

When the plant settles into the night, you come alive. You arrive before 10 PM, scan the MaintainX dashboard, and pick up a crisp handoff from the prior crew. A conveyor needed adjustment, a packer flagged an intermittent sensor fault, and a stretch of preventive maintenance on blow molders (EBM, SBM) is queued.
