Job summary

Teknor Apex is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the TN Plant in Brownsville, TN. This full-time, on-site role supports a 3:00pm–11:00pm shift, requiring a strong mechanical background and the ability to work with production equipment across the facility.

The ideal candidate will have a High school diploma or GED, an associate/technical degree or equivalent experience, 3–5 years in a related field, and the ability to operate forklifts and other lift equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree/technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years practical experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift or other lift equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on all machines & equipment in the plant.
• Install and move production machines and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair machine malfunctions.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and/or controls.
• Ensure shop, equipment and tools are safe to use.
• Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards.
• Operate maintenance shop equipment and hand tools.
