Job summary

Teknor Apex Company in Jacksonville, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, service, and repair production and facilities equipment. You will perform PMs, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and ensure safe operation by following LOTO and safety protocols.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with trade certs or 4+ years in maintenance. Proficiency with basic computer tools and reading drawings is required; this is an on-site, full-time role with overtime as

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Trade school or vocational cert in Electrical or Maintenance preferred, or 4+ years of maintenance/electrical experience.
Comfort with basic computer tools for communication (MS Word/Outlook).

Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair production and facilities equipment independently and safely.
Follow LOTO and safety protocols without exception.
Diagnose and fix mechanical systems: pumps, motors, compressors, blowers, valves, gearboxes, extruders.
Troubleshoot and replace electrical components: breakers, fuses, contactors, solenoids, safety switches, transducers.
Perform PMs and document work orders; read electrical/mechanical drawings for repairs.
