Job summary

Teknor Apex Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of production equipment at our Tennessee site. The role requires reading schematics, using hand tools, and ensuring equipment safety and compliance.

The position operates on a 3:00pm–11:00pm shift with mandatory overtime as business needs require. A high school diploma or GED is required, with associate/technical degree preferred and 3–5 years related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree/technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and facilities equipment.
• 3–5 years practical experience in a related field.
• Computer skills required.
• Ability to operate a forklift or other lift equipment and read/interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on plant machines and equipment.
• Install and move production machines and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair machine malfunctions.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and/or controls.
• Ensure shop, equipment and tools are safe to use and maintained.
• Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards.
• Identify quality issues and meet productivity standards.
• overtime as required due to team-based manufacturing.
