Job summary

RTP Company is seeking a candidate to operate thermoplastic extrusion equipment on a 3rd shift, blending, mixing, and packaging materials to produce customer products. The role requires adherence to safety, quality, and ISO standards with documentation of process data.

The position involves lifting up to 60 lbs, standing for long periods, and potential overtime to support production goals. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate extrusion machinery to mix and extrude materials.
• Weigh ingredients and feed into equipment to meet specs.
• Monitor production for safe, efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
• Inspect materials for conformance to standards.
• Document logs, data, and procedures accurately.
• Assist with cleaning and housekeeping per safety rules.
• Follow ISO and safety procedures; report issues to leads.
