Georg Fischer in Irvine, CA is seeking a plastics welder for 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM). You will fabricate plastic items, read drawings, and ensure quality while maintaining equipment. The role requires experience in PP/HDPE/PVDF/PVC welding and strict adherence to safety and process standards.

You will be responsible for setting up work, inspecting parts, and assisting with packaging and shipment readiness. A high school diploma is preferred and post-employment checks apply.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in fabrication, plastic welding and related work.
• Experience welding PP, HDPE, PVDF & PVC plastics.
• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.
• Passing a company post-employment physical, drug screening and background checks.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricate plastic items using welding, drilling, and sawing.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Maintain high quality and minimize scrap.
• Set‑ups and maintain welding equipment.
• Ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Adhere to safety and quality requirements.
• Assist in boxing finished components.
