Job summary

H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a PRN Surgical Technician in Greensboro, NC. The role supports the plastic surgery center during day shifts as needed, Monday through Friday, handling instruments and assisting in circulating and equipment for procedures.

The candidate will set up sterile tables, anticipate surgeon needs, drape patients, and help with sterilization and room turnover. Prior plastics experience and certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist Certification is required.
• Knowledge in sterilization and processing is required.
• At least 2 years of Surgical Tech experience preferred.
• Plastic surgery/private office setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle instruments, supplies and assist in circulating and equipment during procedures.
• Set up sterile tables and Mayo stand with instruments, supplies, and medications/solutions.
• Anticipate the surgeon's needs by passing instruments during the procedure.
• Assist with draping and establishing the sterile field.
• Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization and assist in room cleaning.

We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN Surgical Technician to join our upscale plastic surgery center! This position is day shift, as needed Monday through Friday.

A bit about the position:

Handles instruments, supplies, assisting in circulating and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Monitors conditions in the operating room and constantly assesses the needs of the patient and surgical team.

What you can expect in the role:

• Gathers, checks, and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure.
• Set up the sterile back table and Mayo stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies to surgeon during procedure.
• Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field.
• Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Assists other members of the team with terminal cleaning of room.
• Assists in prepping the OR for the next patient.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

• Plastics in a private office setting preferred.
• Surgical Technologist Certification.
• Confident and skilled.
• Knowledge in sterilization and processing.
• At leas 2 years of Surgical Tech experience preferred.
