Job summary

Fashion Island Surgery Center in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking an Experienced Surgical Tech/SPD Tech to assist surgeons during plastic surgery procedures. This full-time position includes pre-surgery setup and post-operation tasks, as well as maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience in plastic surgery and be prepared to work flexible hours including occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 3 years previous experience in plastic surgery required.
• Ability to prepare and decontaminate surgical instruments.
• Experience working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surgical operating suite with necessary tools and supplies.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery.
• Cleans and stocks patient rooms and common areas.
