Job summary

Avera Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Sioux Center, IA seeks a dedicated physician to provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and comprehensive patient care within a defined practice area.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, following approved protocols, contributing to patient education, and maintaining meticulous records. On-call responsibilities include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor with board certification or eligibility in the state of practice.
• Doctor of Osteopathy with board certification or eligibility in the state of practice.
• Federal Drug Enforcement Administration license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per approved protocol and standards.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic information and formulate care plans.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate information.
• Collaborate with care team and ensure appropriate referrals.
