Job summary

Avera Sioux Falls is seeking a physician to provide comprehensive medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures and care within a defined practice area. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and education while maintaining patient records and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients per protocol and standards of practice.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Interprets diagnostic information and plans patient care.
• Maintains patient records and ensures accurate information.
• Collaborates with care team to promote quality patient care and makes referrals when needed.
