Job summary

Avera Ear, Nose & Throat Sioux Falls is seeking a qualified physician to provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and comprehensive patient care within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, patient education, and accurate record-keeping.

The role requires MD or DO with board certification/eligibility, DEA licensure, and strong communication skills. On-site teamwork and service to the Sioux Falls community are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and treat patients per approved protocols.
• Strong communication with patients and families.
• Ability to maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients according to medical staff approved protocol and acceptable standards of practice.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and Family members; contributes to health education to motivate patients.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required.
• Interprets diagnostic information and formulates care plans.
• Maintains patient records with accurate information.
• Participates in team consultations to promote quality care.
