Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Physician Assistant to join the Division of Plastic Surgery on the Phoenix campus. You'll work with physicians and NP/PAs in a care-team model, supporting an outpatient clinic with an individual caseload while collaborating across subspecialties.

The PA role includes full-time outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, with supervision and the potential for autonomous outpatient procedures.

Qualifications

• New Grads will not be considered at this time.
• Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.
• Active BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required.
• Seeking someone with a positive, growth mindset who works well with and is supportive of their teammates, is receptive to feedback, and can adapt to a changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Support outpatient visits within a PA-led care team with direct and indirect supervision.
• Inpatient care and select procedures in hospital settings, with opportunities for autonomous outpatient procedures.
• Engage with residents and students for education and performance improvement initiatives.
