Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Sarasota, FL is seeking Plastic Surgeons to join as wound care physicians, leading wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background: No prior wound care experience required; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds (e.g., pressure injuries).
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to follow healing progress.
