Skilled Wound Care, a premier national physician group, is hiring Plastic Surgeons in Beaumont, TX to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds, as well as Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians. No previous wound care experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
