Job summary

Silgan Containers is seeking a capable associate for a production support role in Kentucky. You will promote a safe environment, verify resin and colorant usage per PIC sheets, document on the OEE form, and manage scrap reports to optimize line performance.

The position involves setting up blenders, adjusting formulas, transporting materials, scanning to/from the warehouse, and performing line clearances to maintain clean and efficient production lines.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment.
• Verify daily resin and colorant accuracy per PIC sheet and document on OEE form.
• Complete daily scrap report detailing resin, colorant usage, regrind and scrap.
• Set up blenders, calibrate and change material formulas as necessary.
• Transport materials and scan to/from the warehouse.
• Perform line clearances and clean the material system.
